1. Integrated Software Update:

All three tools mentioned above share similar interfaces, functionalities, and usage methods. They operate by scanning the installed software on the computer, sending information to Filepuma.com, and automatically redirecting to the web interface to view the results of update information. 4. Software Update Pro:
Similar to the other three versions regarding scanning and downloading capabilities, Software Update Pro stands out with its unique features. It has its own client and a distinct interface. The software included can be silently installed, providing exceptional convenience. Moreover, it includes a Remote Manager feature that simplifies software installation on PCs connected via LAN and facilitates software management for multiple devices within the local network.

How to Use Software Update:

1. Open Glary Utilities and click on the Software Update icon in the toolbar. The top right corner of the icon displays the number of detected pending software updates.

2. Software Update will display the automatic scan result, indicating the number of new updates available. You can also click “Rescan” to refresh and obtain the latest update information for software installed on your computer.

3. Clicking “Scan” “Rescan” or the “You have N new updates available” hyperlink will automatically redirect you to the software update details webpage. Here, you can review information about pending software updates, download them, and proceed with the installation. Alternatively, you can click “×” to ignore a particular version.

Customize Results:

You can customize your results by clicking on the top left corner to switch to the “Customize Results” view. This allows you to choose whether to “Show all versions,” “Ignore this version,” or “Ignore all versions.”

In the top right corner, the “Options” menu allows you to decide whether to “Show Details” or “Ignore beta versions.”

Customizing Results within the Tool:

In addition to customization through the webpage, you can access the “Customize Results” option in the bottom right corner of the tool. You can filter and hide beta versions by checking the “Ignore Beta Versions” option in the bottom left corner. The usage is similar to the web version.

Disabling Automatic Software Update Checks

To turn off the automatic software update checks, simply uncheck the checkbox located in the bottom left corner.

If you haven’t received the license code, there could be several reasons:

1) Check your Spam folder: Your email settings may have filtered the email containing the license code as spam. Please check your Spam folder to see if it’s there.

2) Verify your email address: Double-check if you provided the correct and valid email address when you placed the software order. An incorrect email address could result in not receiving the license code.

3) Email service provider restrictions: Some email service providers have strict filters that may reject emails from unknown senders. Ensure your email service provider allows emails from Glarysoft or add their email address to your safe senders list.

2. Lost your license?

If you have lost your license code, please visit the Lost License or My Account page to retrieve it. Please ensure that the email address you use to retrieve the license code is the same one you used when you originally ordered the product.

3. How to renew my license code

We consistently offer renewal discounts to our customers. Customers can renew their license code from the software by clicking “Buy Now” to avail the renewal discount. You will get a new subscription and a new ONE-YEAR license code by renewing. You need to register the Glarysoft program with your new license code manually.

4. When will I receive my license code after purchasing?

How to register to get the PRO version？

Scan & Rescanning:

Glarysoft Software Update Pro automatically scans for available software updates every time it starts. If you wish to perform a manual rescan, right-click on the Pro icon in the system tray and select “Rescan.”

Home:

The Home page displays the software in our library, categorized into various sections such as Browsers & Plugins, Utilities, Security, Communications, Video, Photos, and more. The plus and minus signs in front of each category allow you to expand or collapse the category.

If there are updates available for the software, an arrow indicates the change in version numbers. Software that is already up to date is marked as “up to date” in parentheses.

To install software, simply check or uncheck the desired software and click “Install” in the bottom right corner. The “Select all” or “Clear all” options at the bottom facilitate easy selection of multiple software items.

Updates:

Remote:

The Remote Manager allows network administrators to remotely manage software installation and updates on multiple LAN PCs. This is particularly useful in scenarios such as internet cafes, schools, and companies. Network administrators can use Software Update Pro on their own computers to manage PCs on the local network, updating and installing software included in Software Update Pro.

Usage Steps:

1. Install Software Update Pro on each PC.

2. In the Remote section, click “Refresh” to display the Local Network status. Select the user computers you want to install software on and choose the desired software on the left. Click the “Install” button to begin installing the software on the specified computers within the local network.

3. Wait for the installation to complete. All software within Software Update Pro can be installed silently, without user intervention, making it convenient and straightforward.

4. Once the installation is completed, click “Home” to return to the main interface.

Settings:

The Settings section allows you to modify General options, such as Language, whether to ignore beta versions, and enable/disable startup at boot. You can also Customize Results, choosing whether to display or ignore software versions.

1. Open the Start menu and click on Control Panel (you can type “Control Panel” in the search box).

2. Within the Control Panel, locate and click on the “Uninstall a program” option. This will take you to the “Programs and Features” section.
